ITINERARY: 8 DAYS INCA TRAIL TOUR PERU
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco - Private Transfer to your Hotel
Welcome to Peru! Our private driver will pick you up at the airport to transfer you to your hotel where you can rest before the start of a great adventure.

Day 2: Rafting Excursion – Cusco
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel to transfer you to the camp at “Cusipata River Lodge”, where we can leave our luggage. Here you can enjoy hot showers, baths and sauna and a comfortable dining room. Our professional guides will provide you with all the appropriate rafting equipment, after an exhaustive safety talk, you will drive 10 minutes to the town of Chuquicahuana, there we will start with a level III river class and some sections it can be more challenging. You will spend about two hours floating on the river and feeling the adrenaline. Then, we will finish the rafting at CUSIPATA RIVER LODGE “where a nice hot lunch will be served and you can enjoy a relaxing SAUNA. And if you want we also have a ZIPLINE with 2 cables over the Urubamba river each from 100 meters. our return would be in the afternoon to the city of Cusco.

Day 3: Peru Rainbow Mountain Excursion
Today on the agenda is Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain.
We will pick you up at your accommodation early in the morning and head to the south of the city. Passing through valleys, rivers, mountains and some smaller communities, we reach our starting point at 4900 meters above sea level. We will hike uphill for approximately 45 minutes to the highest point of our excursion which is 5000 meters away, passing through the unique formations of the rainbow mountain range. The incredible view of the Ausangate mountain covered with snow is breathtaking and once we are at the top of our point of view, we will have the Vilcanota Mountain Range in front of us. You will have all the time to rest and take amazing pictures. Afterward, we will descend for approximately 30 minutes to the starting point to finally take the bus and have a delicious lunch.
We will return to Cusco so you can rest for your next activity

Day 4: Hike to Machu Picchu 4D/3N - Cusco - Wayllabamba
At 6:30am our guide will go to your hotel to transport you by bus to Km. 82- Piscacucho, we will arrive at 10:30 a.m. In this place our support staff will have the pleasure of meeting you and accompanying you during your trek. The first kilometers are a smooth walk, we will enjoy beautiful views of the La Veronica and Patallacta snowcaps. We will arrive to Miskay to rest and have lunch and continue towards Huayllabamba, to camp and have dinner on this first night.

Day 5: Hike to Machu Picchu 4D/3N - Wayllabamba - Pacaymayo
After breakfast, we will ascend to the pass or open of Wuarmihuañusca at 4,200 m.a.s.l., in this place we can enjoy a panoramic view of the Vilcabamba mountain range, after lunch we continue the path that descends towards the Pacasmayo valley, after this long day we will camp in Pacaymayo.

Day 6: Hike to Machu Picchu 4D/3N - Pacaymayo – Wiñay Huayna
We will visit the archaeological group of Runquracay, and will find the original Inca path paved in its entirety, in some stretches of two meters wide, and we can observe the quality of the Inca architecture; we will visit Sayacmarca, a beautiful architectural complex. We will cross a tunnel and then arrive at the archaeological group of Phuyupatamarca, descending by an interesting way, with a dense vegetation of the jungle, very rich in flora and fauna, after two hours we will arrive to Wiñay huayna to camp and have dinner.

Day 7: Hike to Machu Picchu 4D/3N - Wiñay Huayna – Machu Picchu
Very early we restart the walk until we reach the Intipunku (Puerta del Sol) entrance gate to Machu Picchu, with the first rays of the sun we will appreciate in all its magnitude the citadel of Machu Picchu and then descend until we reach the citadel. For two hours the guide will explain the Inca wonder, after having free time to travel and enjoy Machu Picchu, we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes. Then enjoy the beautiful views on your way back to Cusco.

Terms & Conditions:
PAYMENT
To confirm the agreed travel contract, a non-refundable pre-payment of 30% of the costs per person must be paid. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before departure of the tour for all mainland tours in Ecuador and 90 days before departure for all travel to the Galápagos Islands and mainland tours in a South American destination except Ecuador.
If the client concludes his travel arrangements with RT less than 60 days before the departure date for mainland travel in Ecuador, or 90 days for the Galápagos Islands or a mainland tour in any South American destination except Ecuador, the tour must be paid in full immediately.
If a client fails to pay for his/her tour in full before the agreed final payment dates (60 days before departure for mainland travel in Ecuador and 90 days before departure for Galápagos Island or a mainland travel in South America except Ecuador) the client risks losing his/her tour. Equally, by failing to make the full payment before the due date, the client will lose his/her deposits for all travelers included in the reservation.
If the tour fee has not been paid in full before the arranged travel start, RT will be released from its service obligations and may require the customer to pay any appropriate resignation costs.
RESIGNATION BY THE CUSTOMER
The customer can withdraw from the contract at any time before beginning the tour however this must be done in writing.
Refunds can only be made under the following cancellation guidelines, as pre-tour costs will be incurred and cannot be recuperated by RT.
Cancellation Fees may vary for certain custom itinerary tours; your Responsible Travel Specialist consultant will specify cancellation fees before making your reservation.
Therefore, the following refunds can be given for cancelled tours:
a) For mainland tours in Ecuador which do not include boat trips / cruises:
60 days or more before departure:
Full refund, excluding the nonrefundable prepayment of 30%.
From 59 to 21 days before departure:
Refund of 60% of the travel price
From 20 to 10 days before departure:
Refund of 50% of the travel price
From 9 to 5 days before departure:
Refund of 20% of the travel price
From 4 days until departure;
0% will be refunded
b) For journeys that include boat trips / cruises (Galapagos), the following conditions apply:
90 days or more before departure:
Full Refund excluding the nonrefundable prepayment of 30%.
From 89 to 60 days before departure:
Refund of 50% of the travel price
From 59 to 40 days before departure:
Refund of 40% of the travel price
From 39 to 31 days before departure:
Refund of 30% of the travel price
From 30 days until departure date:
0% will be refunded
Important: Please note that for Galápagos Charters, the cancellation fees can vary according to the chosen boat and therefore will be confirmed individually.
c) For mainland tours in a South American destination (excepting Ecuador):
90 days or more before departure:
Full Refund excluding minimum cancellation fee of USD $50 per person
From 89 to 31 days before departure:
Refund of 80% of the travel price
From 30 to 10 days before departure:
Refund of 50% of the travel price
From 9 to 5 days before departure:
Refund of 20% of the travel price
